Over the years we have fabricated a wide Range of items, From buffer stops (see above), Industrial diesel shunter cabs, walk ways, locomotive exhaust silencers, Steam engine cabs and snow ploughs.
Locomotive Body Work Repair
We also repaired locomotive bodysides, structure due to rot or crash damage and cab refurbs.
Components Refurbish
Here at Sheaf Eng we have a machine room containing lathe, milling, punching, drilling and grinding machines that enable us to refurb & supply a wide range of components. Bogie frames, axlebox liners & bores, brake rigging pins & bushes and brake cylinders to name a few.
